Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how boarding bridge DAO LLC ("boarding bridge", "bb", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website boardingbridge.org, the boarding bridge DAO portal ("Purser", purser.boardingbridge.org), our Discord server and related bots, and our events and campaigns (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

Discord. When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and your roles in the boarding bridge server. As part of operating the community, our bot also reads messages in the boarding bridge server to record activity statistics such as message counts per channel, thread, and member, and may store the content of messages in designated operational channels and threads (for example, task and event coordination threads) to support coordination features.

Linked accounts. If you choose to link them, we receive your X (Twitter) handle, profile image, and follower count; your Google account name and email address; and your Telegram user ID and username. We use these only for verification, display, contact, and program eligibility.

Wallets. If you register a wallet, we store the wallet address and the signature you provide to prove ownership. We never receive or store your private keys.

Contribution and reward records. We keep records of tasks, event participation, campaign entries and submissions, contribution points, ranks, classes, badges, and rewards, including blockchain transaction hashes of payouts, which are public on the relevant blockchain.

Information you provide. Names, contact details, and other information you submit through forms, applications (for example, officer applications), or event entries.

Technical data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process IP addresses, browser and device information, and server logs for security and operation of the Services. We use cookies strictly necessary for sign-in sessions and to remember your language preference; we do not use advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Information

  • to provide the Services, authenticate you, and manage permissions based on your Discord roles;
  • to run events, campaigns, giveaways, and contribution programs, including verifying eligibility and selecting winners;
  • to record contributions and distribute rewards to your registered wallet or account;
  • to produce community statistics and rankings (such as leaderboards and weekly activity rankings) and public member profiles;
  • to communicate with you about the Services, including via Discord and Telegram notifications;
  • to keep the Services secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Displayed Publicly

Some information is shown publicly on boardingbridge.org and within the DAO portal so that the community can see its activity and members:

  • Weekly activity rankings showing the Discord display names and avatars of the most active members of the boarding bridge server and the most active discussion threads, based on message counts. These rankings may include members who have not registered on the DAO portal.
  • Leaderboard and member profiles of registered portal users, showing display name, avatar, Discord username, X handle, X follower count, Discord level, Miles (contribution points) and rank, class, and badges. These are visible without signing in. Rewards, wallet addresses, email addresses, and other private details are never displayed publicly.
  • Event information such as speakers, hosts, and coordinators of community events. Giveaway or campaign entrants and winners are not published; they are visible only to the event organizers.

If you do not want to appear in public rankings or profiles, contact us (see Section 9) and we will exclude you.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • with service providers that process data on our behalf, including Discord, X, Google, and Telegram (sign-in and account linking), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), and Google Workspace (internal spreadsheets and documents);
  • with partner projects when you participate in a campaign or program run with that partner, limited to the information needed for that program (for example, your public handle, wallet or platform address, and entry details) and disclosed to you in the program rules;
  • on public blockchains, where reward payouts are recorded as transactions;
  • when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of the community, or in connection with a reorganization of boarding bridge.

5. International Transfers

boarding bridge is organized in the Republic of the Marshall Islands and operates a global community. Our providers process data in the United States, Japan, and other countries. By using the Services you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and contribution records for as long as you are a member of the community and as needed to maintain accurate records of contributions, rewards, and payouts. Activity statistics are stored in aggregated daily form. Wallet addresses and transaction records may be retained for accounting and legal purposes after you leave. You can request deletion or unlinking as described in Section 8.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encrypted connections, and role-based permissions. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your own accounts, devices, and wallets safe.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. In the DAO portal you can view and update your profile, unlink accounts, and change your registered wallet. To exercise other rights, request exclusion from public rankings, or delete your portal account, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity through your Discord account.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
